Effectively addressing unsheltered homelessness in any community is a major undertaking requiring coordination, funding, compassion, planning and access to permanent affordable housing. Join us in learning how Florida communities have addressed unsheltered homelessness utilizing best practices and collaboration among local, state, and federal partners. We will discuss sanctioned encampments, tent cities, emergency shelters, permanent housing, and the unique needs of those living in unsheltered situations. Learn from other communities to create a strategic plan addressing unsheltered homelessness in your community!
