Join the SHIP Administrators Training sponsored by Florida Housing Finance Corporation. This three-hour session will feature important SHIP related topics, including best practices for Affordable Housing Advisory Committees (AHACs), Heirs property and legislative updates. Learn from the experience of others during the small group discussion session. We will have a thoughtful discussion about challenges and opportunities from the local government perspective, including but not limited to the set asides in the SHIP program. Participants will also talk about how to incentivize contractors to participate, best practices for outreach, and new strategies made possible by larger allocations. In addition, the Florida Housing Coalition will present awards that highlight the innovation, versatility, and dedication of SHIP staff.
